Lux Photo Lab
My relationship with
Lux Photo Lab is rooted in a shared passion for the tangible power of the printed image. I first met the owner, Emilio Lanzagorta, during one of my photography workshops in Chicago. What began as a standard instructor-student introduction quickly evolved into a series of deep, ongoing conversations about the soul of our craft.
We found common ground in the belief that a photograph isn’t truly finished until it exists in the physical world. For Emilio and me, printing is more than just a technical step; it is the act of securing your artistic legacy. In an era of fleeting digital files, Emilio’s dedication to high-end lab work ensures that stories are preserved for generations.
I am deeply honored that Emilio is featuring my “Viñales Valley: The Tobacco Heartland of Cuba” images in the upcoming issue of the
Light & Paper Magazine. This collaboration represents the beginning of a meaningful professional bond, and I am incredibly grateful for Emilio’s support and the creative synergy we continue to build together.
